JUNIOR GOLF

After school on Wednesdays at 3.30pm (during school terms), we operate the Futures junior golf programme

What is Futures?

Futures empowers young people to learn at their own pace, meet new friends and provides opportunities for young people and families to learn and play together.

Invite your friends to mini-golf, smash balls at the driving range, play on-course as a team, as an individual, take part in virtual challenges or just play casually for FUN! 

Futures has something for young people of all ages and abilities!

Members - only $50 per term for junior golf coaching

Non-Members - only $70 per term for junior golf coaching

Want to try - $10 per session

(Pay for your Junior Golf coaching at the golf shop before joining the coaching session)

FAMILY GOLF

Golf is a great game for the whole family!  Whakatane Golf Club makes it easy to join up the whole family.  Junior membership is $150 and for an extra $100 you can take out a Juior with Guardian membership which allows any nominated adult to play on the golf course with the junior aged under 14 years.  The guardian must be with the junior and has no playing rights outside of this.  No DotGolf services are available to the guardian.

CLUB FITTING DAYS

Throughout the year we hold club fitting days, with Titleist and Wilson.  Please email us to joining the waiting list for the next fitting day.

We use the Golf Professional to analysise you to make sure you get the right Driver, Fairways, Hybrids and Irons to match your swing. The fitting days have a huge range of heads and shafts, so we can determine the best combination for you, whilst making sure that club length, lie angle and grip size are all accounted for.
