Daily Novelty Prizes, Two’s -only on Best Ball at Whakatane Golf Club
Entry Fee: $40 per Player [$160 per Team of Four]
Field: Open to amateur golfers who are full financial members of golf clubs affiliated to the NZGA/WGNZ and overseas Clubs affiliated to their national golf organization
Entries close on Friday 5th March 2010
Handicaps: All players must hold an official 18 Hole Handicap Index prior to commencement of their first round. Any player who fails to meet these criteria will have their entry cancelled without refund.
Handicap Index Limits Men 0-36.4 Women 0-40.4
Rules: The R&A Rules of Golf, plus local rules in force at participating clubs. The Match Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry without having to state any reason.
Carts: Carts are permitted Meals: Available at both Clubs
Disputes: Disputes will be resolved by the Match Committee and its decisions will be final.
Ties: ALL ties will be decided by lot.
Sponsors: We ask that you support the tournament sponsors and agree to being included on their mailing List. This is not a condition of entry.
Refunds: There will be no refund of entry fees for cancellations received after Monday 8th March, 2010
Tee Start Times: Rolling start 2 tees at Ohope ; 10.30-12.30 Saturday.
Shotgun Start at Whakatane; 10.00am Sunday.
Draw: The draw will be posted in Beacon, Wed, 10th Mar, also on Club Websites
Prizegiving - will be at Whakatane Golf Club , Sunday at 4.30pm

We have good news the club is getting busy with good numbers of players on all days of the week.

This means we as a club are having to change our relaxed attitude to tee times, as this has been causing grief to other members and competitions.

We therefore have asked Grant James and his staff to enforce the tee times. If you have tee time at 10:56 you are required to tee off at that time, if you miss your tee time you will be required to find another free time slot.

This could mean you might have to wait for 16 minutes ,half an hour or even an hour before there is a free tee time.

This applies to all members, committee members, club captains, visitors etc.

We advise members to observe your tee times and be more concerned about starting on time. Please do not vent your frustrations towards Grant and his staff as this decision has been made by the Match Committee and the Club.

If you feel there is a hold up causing delays and you fear missing your tee time please advise the Pro Shop.
